Site tweaking continues
A number of small-to-medium formatting tweaks continue to happen! The current rough to-do list in no particular order is:
- (Maybe) change the gallery/peeptrew photos to display in a masonry style layout
- Add a page for all outbound links to friends/inspirations/resources
- Add a subsection from the ~/gallery for my characters, which would probably mean making character pages
- (Maybe) figure out how I want to use basic tagging across the site (which would be a really tall task if it means tagging the gallery)
- Add sheet music to ~/kittyclysm where applicable
- (Maybe) make custom players for ~/kittyclysm and ~/peeptrew videos
In-streams so far
They’ve been working out pretty well so for the most part! I’ve probably been a bit ambitious so far with how many slots I’ve accepted each form (often taken 3-5, when I really wanted it to stay in the realm of 1-4). I think that’s partly from the newness of the whole process which provides a bit of momentum, and partly from wanting to please as many folks as possible (which I need to work on because it will come at cost to my wrist/shoulder eventually).
I originally wanted to keep accepted submissions within a single batch a smidge lower because I wanted to have more frequent streams with smaller batches. Though, that’s nearly what’s been occuring so far, somewhat unintentionally: on weeks where I’ve taken like five submissions, I’ve been dividing them up between Thur. evening (the night before the “official” stream) and Fri. proper. I think at some point I’ll perhaps just formalize that process a bit more and maybe divide the week’s form into two “official” streams- Friday & Saturday, or maybe Saturday & Sunday.
